Oscar is black with some brindle, about 18 pounds, and needs
some special TLC due to a broken leg. It was apparently broken
and pinned a year or so ago, but the pin broke and he has now
had part of that removed. He walks on that leg, but favors it.
However, that does not slow him down a bit. He is quite a pistol.
Oscar found a home in Indianapolis and has a new family to
take care of.
A note from Oscar's new mom:
A note to let you know, the little boy
is doing fine. We changed his name to Max, fits him much better.
He slept all night with no problems. Went right out to do his
business first thing this morning. He met the outside dogs and
cats. Made no effort to attack anyone! This is his first morning
at work and everyone was glad to see him. He makes friends quickly.
Already he is trying to take over the place. I've had to put
a temporary gate up to keep him from being greeter to all who
enter the lobby. Even not being able to get in there, he seems
to get customers to come to him. This is a very social fellow--perhaps,
we should add him to our sales force!
He is napping now (against his better judgment).
He seems to be favoring his leg increasingly and I think it is
from too much activity. He is curious about everything and if
he were not slowed down a little, I think he would be on springs!
All in all, he is great. I must tell you one more story--he was
confined to my office while I was in the lobby for a couple of
minutes. I looked into the office to check on him. He had jumped
into the secretary's chair and was sitting straight up--bright
eyes just popping-- as if the office belonged to him.
Thanks for all you help.
